From August 26 to November 3 I have been building a second (first was in 1971 when I was 17 years old and did not know what quality was) battleship YAMATO. 52" long at 1:200 scale. I have older versions, a 1:350 Tamiya and a 1:250 Arii (in 2016) so this is my big one - lotsa detail and paint. Working in Malware Forensics sometimes ain't easy. (On March 28th I also was returning from Black Diamond Pub with one drink tooooo many - 3 but one was a shot) and nailed a street sign that totalled the front end of car. Put down the glass at that point and have not touched ye old demon rum ever since. Not an alchoholic but traces and glad I stopped then and there) So this is my monster.

Dang dude. Is that from scratch? Very nice. Also glad to hear you dropped the hooch. But dang (again) this thing is a great looking piece of work. Wish Ken could have seen that. He'd love it. What's next?

I don't know a lot about ships...but the detail on these is VERY impressive.

Really nice job on all three. I wish I had the patience/skill required to build models. About the closest I can get to these are some of the larger Lego Technic kits.
