Weather in Sydney Australia Major flooding

I have been in the IT Industry since 1978. I thought I could weather anything failing on me. But the weather in Sydney today came at me and won. My main computer took major water damage and the external archive drives took the shock and burned out. No problem I backup to a system in another part of my house. But the water got to it too. Pictures and documents I have in the cloud but the sad part is are all the stories and images I collected over the last 12 years from the net are gone.
Now I have my laptop and time to rebuild.

I have been flooded before. It sucks.

Hang in there. It was almost four years ago for me, and I'm still finding remnants of the mess.
