How about some of the wit and wisdom of David "The Office" Brent:-
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
There is no "I" in "team", but there IS a "Me" if you look hard enough.
Unless or until morale improves, the beatings will continue.

Not sure if the last one really fits as it is more of a threat than something that is true.

My mantra...:
"Never look down on people unless you are helping them up."

:)

Here's a few favorite quotes I've saved for years in a text file (no joke)...

“The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible.”
- Albert Einstein

"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal." - Henry Ford

"LIVE as if you were to die tomorrow.....LEARN as if you were to live forever." - Ghandi

"Idealism increases in direct proportion to one's distance from the problem." - John Galsworthy

"Dogs are not our whole lives, but dogs make our lives whole" - Roger Karas

"For every problem there is a solution that is simple, elegant and wrong". – H. L. Mencken

"For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn only by doing them." - Aristotle

"Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience." - Mark Twain

"I’m not religious in the normal sense. I believe the universe is governed by the laws of science. The laws may have been decreed by God, but God does not intervene to break the laws." - Stephen Hawking

A milestone toward wisdom is when you begin to understand how much you don't understand.

That reminds me of:

"The fool who knows so little believes he knows all there is to know. The wise man who has learned so much realizes that he knows so little"
