Quicksand Fans

Please be alert regarding the weather today and tomorrow if you are in the path of the storm now in the eastern half of the USA. It passed through the Studio 588 location (Arkansas) overnight and had a great deal of energy. It was, in fact, a good deal MORE energetic than had been forecast. There was no damage here but there was just a few miles further east, and this was during the wee hours when storms of this type are usually weaker than during the daytime. If it continues like that there will almost certainly be tornadoes, and tornadoes are not nice people.

On the edge of the storm here, rain turning to snow, but no power outages yet.

We're getting some wind but not complaining. All that warm air from down south is pushing todays high temp to 60F. Going to hop on the bike and take a ride......in January.
