Another Sports Trivia

Here is another sports-related trivia question. No googling.

There may well be more than one correct answer to this. Name an athlete who, aside from having a subsequent movie career, won Olympic medals (not necessarily gold) in two different sports in the same Olympics. For purpose of this question, two different events in the same sport do not count.

Different sports. That would rule out Jenner. The "movie career" clue should be enough, but I draw a blank. :( Sounds like something I knew once though.

Summer or winter sport? Hmmmm.


:oops: OK. I folded and searched. MANY Americans have won medals in 2 different sports but only one I recognized as an actor or actress too. Good quiz.

Yes, Weismuller is the correct answer. He won several gold medals in swimming and a bronze in water polo.
