Hiya, I just found a trial version of a flash program that I can try for free, but I'll only have 30 days after downloading before the trial period is over. Before I get things started, I wanted to ask, Does anyone know where I can get some decent goopy, mudd,y sinky sound effects?? When it comes tw making flash it is striclty experemental. So if anyone has any sound data or knows where I can get some sound effects for free I'd really appriciate it.

Visit iTunes and search on "royalty free". You can find all kinds of themed sound effects for .99 cents each. 8-)

In addition to sound effects, Sound Dogs also has many male and female vocalizations. These include phrases and other voice sounds. like grunts, gasps and screams. If you want to add voice effects, I'm certain you will find something you can use. However, you should avoid the 'cartoon' voice effects. They sound, well, too cartoony, and the 'female' effects don't sound like women.

While we're on the subject of royalty-free stuff, I found a website which features the best royalty-free music I've found. It's called The Music Bakery (www.musicbakery.com), and I was very impressed listening to their samples. The quality and variety of what they have is very impressive. I have a couple of projects I'm working on, and I found music that fit what I needed perfectly.

According to their website, they have some big corporate clients, and I can understand why. If you're looking for royalty free production music, check them out.

Dave at MPV turned me on to that site also. He uses some of the really greassy swamp blues and dobro guitar samples from there for some of the soundtracks on his vids, great stuff, fits right in.
