Drafting Software

Postby Jumpoff_Joe » Mon Dec 07, 2020 12:24 am

Hello:

Can someone recommend a simple drafting solution for a one-time project? If you want to know more about what it is, and you have an actual solution to offer, please message me. Though I am posting this in the "off-topic" section, the end result will definitely be "on topic."

Alternatively, I could potentially see myself hiring the services of someone who drafts or has simple architectural skills, but my budget for this project is very, very limited.

Sketchup has a free and relatively easy to use web program. Fusion 360 is free as well for personal projects.

There are dozens, if not hundreds of videos on YouTube for SketchUp. A pretty capable program, especially for free.
I found the series by Jay Bates very helpful.

Never tried Fusion 360, so I can't comment on it

Good luck with your project.
