I suppose we should all run outside, in circles, yelling, "Run and tell the king.... the sky is falling, the sky is falling."

I'm not really worried just amazed. The low end of that estimate is more snow than we've gotten over the last 4 to 5 years around here! Guess this is karma for all those easy winters.

I liked snow many, MANY mons ago when it meant a day off from school. Now, however, the mere mention of the word is cause for panic.

We got a couple inches last in 2006. Showed my daughter how to make a snowman about 2 feet high. I'll be fine if that's the last I have to deal with.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

We got about 1/4” of it, and it’s all gone now. Still cold as hell though.

I'm back in NJ for a bit and yesterday/ through the night we got several inches... but because they continuously plow and salt the road during the snowfall, the roads look passable... i had forgotten how efficiently snow can be dealt with

Around here your suggestion would be met with "What's a snow plow"

Call me a wimp. I complain if it's in the low 50's: "It's too cold to go flying!"

Yep, I'm a spoiled west coast SOB.
