Interesting article on the "cute Cthulhu" phenomenon, in which the author ties it in to Hentai and Tentacle Porn.
Edit: And did I mention the article has a really nice tentacle-rape-while-sinking-in-a-blob pic?

I have no idea what that thing is and I'm not sure that I care what it is either. But that dark green plush toy is SO CUTE!
No. I shouldn't...I really shouldn't...I already got a big Pink Panther, a Weenie Beanie (Beanie Baby weiner dog) and a stuffed weenie footlong that really barks if you squeeze it. Hey. I got to remember my dear doggie somehow (rest her warm, furry and cute soul).
My Beanie Bat is totally cute, and those little furry fluorescent green aliens are so adorable when you put them all on a shelf en masse.
Got a kick out of the Mommy Tentacles cartoon too. Maybe that kid had a nightmare from cuddling one of those things.

The C is pronounced as K, then a TH, then U pronounced as OO in "ooze", the 2nd H is nearly silent, so L(h)U as in "loop"
so, 'kth-OO-loo' with accent on the 2nd syllable.
