RIP.

Here's a guy who had a long career as an actor and director but will always be known for one role - Herb Tarlek on WKRP. He took that one little part and made it the standard for tacky pushy inept salesman. So much so that when I get a random text message from someone wanting to buy/sell my house, and I often do, I respond with "You know who I think of when someone approaches me about a deal with a text message?" and attach a picture of Herb.

"Turkeys Away", a classic. "Real Families", brought out a side of Herb we never expected to see.
