Started watching this series this weekend. Not bad overall and S1 Ep7 has a sub plot with a tar pit in which two of the main characters are trapped in a sinking "Rover" type vehicle. Kind of dissappointing because neither of them end up going for a swim but pretty well done.

I really enjoyed that scene (and the series as a whole), but wish it had been a little more WAM. Was disappointed to learn it has been cancelled.

It sucks but I'd rather see a show go out on top then get one last crappy season where it just kind of whithers away. They kind of wrote themselves into a corner when they blew up the colony ship, season 3 would've just been more of Season 2. Better to iust leave it at "They all lived happily ever after on their new home planet". 8-)

I think the idea of "lost in space" is a pretty good one, but would be particularly so if done in a more adult fashion that the original TV series. Many, MANY, moons ago I tried my hand at writing a story for a full-length movie that would be more in the line of Swiss Family Robinson except I did not include ANY underage characters. The story was called "Planet Robinson" and was written in six chapters. There were five or six different mud/quicksand scenes in the six chapters. A re-post of those is, in fact, scheduled to take place VERY soon in my story reposts.

I was wrong. There’s one more season. It’s coming out soon. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/lost-sp ... 25820.html
