Meat had taken to living in Nashville, the old rockers graveyard, in recent years and frequently appeared on lower Broad at John Rich's club. Other than the songs that got good radio play, I wasn't exposed to much Meatloaf, although I knew who he was.

I thought he was pretty good (acting) in Formula 51 (POS 51 in the UK - somehow they thought that title was problematic in the US).
