As Dr Who travels throughout time and space, this trivia item should be answered in terms of the sequence of the show itself. The Dr has had many companions and fellow-travelers. Of all those, which was the first to stay behind on a world for which he/she was not a native?

Easy one.
The Doctor's own granddaughter, Susan - she left the TARDIS...or rather, was left from the TARDIS, at the conclusion of The Dalek Invasion of Earth.....Susan is Gallifreyan, after all...
