Weirdly enough, it turns out she was a cousin to former Australian PM, Malcolm Turnbull.
Yeah, that was a weird discovery.

I do regret not going to see her perform in ‘Driving Miss Daisy’, when it toured here as a stage play.
Between herself, and James Earl Jones, it would have been a damned good night out.

She was a granddaughter of former Labour Party leader George Lansbury, the Jeremy Corbyn of his day (meeting a similar fate, metaphorically "stabbed in the back" by Ernest Bevin at the 1935 Labour Party Annual Conference), and was a lifelong socialist (gasp! You mean, Jessica Fletcher was....a COMMIE?)

"So you see Sheriff, when Tony Blsir said he had "no problem" with some people being obscenely rich, he broke totally with Labour Party policy, he really ought to have stuck to a policy of Permanent Revolution"
"Any idea what she's talking about. Sheriff?"
"I think Mrs Fletcher's just become a Trotskyist, Mister Mayor
...."

She brought a lot of joy and entertainment into my life over the decades! It's sad, realizing that she won't be gracing the screen anymore.

And thanks for not posting this as part of the mass-obit!
