At 62, I'm learning piano. I've been at this about a year now.

I'll also walk into a room and be like, "okay, sooo... what exactly did I come in here for?" Then I'll walk back to the kitchen empty handed; see the empty paper towel holder and be like, "Ohhh... so that's what I went out there for!"

I had forgotten Super Chicken - the rest were embedded in my brain. The Saturday morning King Kong cartoon is a good one: “One day a boy, too young to know the danger ...” I think many people my age may have forgotten that one. How about: “When criminals in this world appear ... And break the laws that they should fear...?” (Hint - another cartoon superhero).

Kong and my hero - There's no need to fear! Underdog is here! Even at that age I was grooving when Sweet Polly Purebread fell in the giant cake batter mixer.

I took lessons for five years when I was young enough to remember anything and when I got done, I still couldn't play any better than I could before I began. You'll be great.
