I recalled your being a fan just like me. I'd never seen it before so thanks for the link to that vid. It's a killer because she will always be about 29 to most of us. If you look at her work it pretty much describes all of my peripheral fetish interests. I know she was the reason I first paid attention to wetsuits with her appearance in Fantastic Voyage and the same year it was also her iconic image in One Million Years B.C. I also "blame" her for my fascination with showers, wetlook, wet hair, skin, and girls with guns from one scene in 100 Rifles. She even looked great on The Muppet Show. Pretty sure she adorned the cover of the first Playboy I ever bought - December 1979. Wish I still had that one. And I know she was part of what lit me up on Skate girls and Roller Derby with Kansas City Bomber. She was turned down for the role of Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island because the producers were afraid nobody would pay attention to anything else. Hate to see her go. I'm not getting any younger either.

Catch the best scene in 100 Rifles

on Seinfeld, she was able to poke fun at herself... and who could resist "a catfight with Raquel Welch"?

but my favorite scenes were from the Four Musketeers

This one stings. She was doing sexy catfights and wetlook in cinema before many of us was born. One of the main influences behind my idea of shooting content that embodies “sometimes it’s not what you see but what you leave to the imagination” and she left much to my imagination

That scene was absolute fire and a timeless piece of work. Cleverly done and of course sexy AF! She will be missed :(

I can see why that would happen, given the kind of roles she's had...but I have no such excuse, or even a real reason.

That said...the 100 Rifles scene is pretty impressive. They weren't kidding when they named that movie.

I hunted down scenes from that roller-derby movie. Wow. That's one for the catfight lovers.

The photo you posted that I love the most is the one with the lime green dress. Simple...lovely...that is how I see her.

I now contribute, for the wetlook, the scene of Raquel as Hannie Caulder...making her pants fit.
