the real birds land on swampy turf, and the human finds it won't support her weight?

I was thinking the real birds dress up as humans and use some sort of technology to sink the bird-people.

Not really related to scaring the birds.....but I'm picturing a nest build of sticks floating in the middle of a peat bog.....a big egg in it, like an Ostrich egg. Along comes an intrepid sexy hunter who knows the eggs of the rare endangered Bogstrich are a delicacy and will fetch a high price.......she wades in to retrieve the egg but ends up sinking from site, desperately grasping hands only inches from her prize.....

Hmmm. I think the peat bog here at the Studio is too small to have a giant nest in the middle, but perhaps something smaller. Of course, the plot is rather similar to two other scene series.
