I was never a fan. The effect to me was always gimmicky at best and wearing those glasses gave me a headache every time.

Shorter lived than PiP. Was possibly the worst thing done since HDDVD (sorry Toshiba). Interestingly enough, some TVs and projos still offer 3D support despite most glasses for the tech has either seen the bottom of the media cabinet or trashcan of people’s homes LOL

This is 100% fact and why it never went beyond “fad” status. That said, Panasonic seemed to do it the best. Minimal eye fatigue and none of those wonky “They Live” side affects after taking them off. It still didn’t make the mark though and cable providers couldn’t deliver despite their claims saying they could. It was a mess and I hated having to explain it to customers why their favorite 24/7 news station wasn’t in 3D :lol:
