Re: Leggo My Coffee
I have not made it since before the fire in 2020, but a coffee drink I really like is carbonated, black, iced coffee. I first had it in a can from a vending machine in Japan, some time in the early 90s. One of these days I will start making homemade carbonated water (or juice) again, but what I really need, if it exists, is a liter-sized paint shaker. At the pressure I use the bottle being carbonated has to be shaken until the bubbles stop coming in.

Yummy!
For those who like flavored coffees, you can actually make a lot of them yourself. I can make my own cafe mocha and pumpkin pie spice. I don't have a recipe for anything. I've experimented with random tossing-in of various items with milk and sweetener and eventually settled on what I like. Real milk, powdered milk, Nestle's Quik, baking cocoa, molasses, artificial sweeteners, half-and-half, brown sugar, whipped cream, peppermint, cinnamon...
I can't make the waffle coffee, though. That one, I think I'd have to buy!

That's pretty elaborate.
I visit camp MPV as seldom as once a week now, so brewing pots of coffee got to be a drag. I ended up resorting to stashing saran wrap covered pots in the fridge. Ick. The office is also not so good for leaving unfinished pots of coffee out in the open. So, a Keurig in both places.
But I still grind coffee at home and enjoy that. They never seem to run out of $30 Mr Coffee brewers at Walmart.

Re: Leggo My Coffee
An extremely strong two ounces of black coffee, plus some sugar, added to a batch of unflavored gelatin, makes a very good Jello. They used to make packets of coffee Jello but I have not seen that in a very long time. About the same mixture plus some cocoa or chocolate syrup makes a very good ice cream. I have an ice cream machine with its own built-in freezer for that. Of course, my tastes are on the unusual side - I also make curry ice cream.
