I would have *loved* to see it take Best Foreign Film, but, hey, this is remarkable.
I also suspect this will greatly influence Toho Studios in whatever they do next in terms of the franchise....
...oh, and don't get me started on this new American film due in a couple weeks, looks truly awful...the CGI looks cheap, they gave Godzilla hot pink fins (!?!??!WTF!?!?!
) and it's looking to play like a comic book/monster buddy kind of flick...help...
