It was an interesting night to be sure.... the Liberals decimated after standing in the middle for soooo long, the BQ being stomped (YES!) the rise of the NDP as the official opposition, but held in check by a Conservative majority.... Iggy being booted (Score!) and the head of the Greens finally getting a seat in BC. I can live with this arrangement, especially as there won't be another election for four more years...

Alas... being in Ontario, we have to go to the polls again this fall... but... that's a way off.

Canada is a wonderful place filled with wonderful people and I'm very fond of the whole place. If it makes the leftists among you feel any better just consider that even a conservative Canadian is still a bomb throwing liberal by US standards.

Uhh, Duncan? Have you actually spent much time hanging with Kham? He's one of the few people I can discuss things like the borders of the future North American Empire with.

I should have been more explicit and said "Canadian politician". We've pulled a couple of hitches together in Arkansas and I'd have Kham on my side any day.
