What would you do?....

Last night I caught a few minutes of a show called "What would you do?"
Apparently it's been on a while and basically it's a set up for the public to see who exactly would get involved in a situation they see someone in. Like in a coffee shop i believe someone was on their computer chatting with someone they just met online in another country and was asked to wire them a large amount of money. Several people in the room expressed concern about this and when they found out it was just a rouse they were all good sports about it.
Just wonder though on this show wonder if they could have someone sinking in quicksand/mud to see just how a passerby would go about making a rescue. If they could do this set up or not it'd be interesting though to see a passerbys reaction and how they'd do "making a rescue." The quicksand/mud pit would obiously be manmade. To add to this there could be a sign saying "DANGER QUICKSAND!!" and the person in it would be explaining how they got in that situiation despite the sign. Only problem is what if someone went as far as calling 911.
