I need tires, can somebody out there recommend the best tire for this area? Right now I have general Grabber AT2's on a 01 Jeep Wrangler they are LT 235/75/15 theres no lift
(don't need it) And I have 4 wheeled just about everywhere with these tires, only thing is I got this Jeep as a birth day present when I was 16 and its had these same tires on it ever since and I'm just wondering if any others are better I'd ask the Voteck autoshop teacher, but his students are smarter than he is. And of course I don;t want to ask the man at Goodyear cause you know that instantly Goodyear will be the best.

I've heard nothing but good things about those General Grabbers. Price isn't too bad either. If they worked for you all this time and lasted that long I'd say stick with them. Might want to go up to a 31x10.50 if you can afford the few extra bucks.

Thanks, but I can't go any higher than 30's cause I have a dana 35C rear end with 3.73 gears. (boyfriend looked and told me) I've been told that some people have great luck with large tires and others snap the carrier or axle, I'd be the other people

Huh....never heard of anyone having issues with 31's but I'll take your word for it. If you don't want to go over 30 these should fit:

It really is a shame you're afraid of that extra 1".....there are a lot of choices out there in 31x10.50 that are sort of in between a radial and a dedicated off road tire that will score you some extra traction, look badass but still wear decently.

Those should do you just fine and not wear like crap. It's nice to dream of huge gnarly rubber but if your toy is also your street vehicle you have to remain sane or regret it. I blew over a grand on a set of Interco Thornbirds ($200+ x 5 tires) and damn were they awesome but 10,000 miles later they were bald.

I use my Jeep for everything on road or off road, usually its a daily driver though, although I DID discover right after I bought it that its more capable than a Hummer, and goes places my dads old K10 didn't
