Ready for the second half season of The Walking Dead and the new Survivor season. Hell on Wheels was a good first run. Probably will be a while, but Breaking Bad is also a can't miss.

Another "stuck" scene in the last episode. Better then the first but not really anything to write home about. Zombie escapes and then proceeds to play a rousing game of "find the entrails" with one of the main characters. RIP Dale.

From what I have seen in this season I can honestly say I'd have left that kid on the fence, and left Shane in the bus. I think that kid is bad news for the group and Shane is thinking of killing Rick. I loved seeing the zombie in the quicksand, but I almost cried when Daryl said " sorry Brother" with a gun pointed at Dales head, but, at least this way Dale won;t come back as a zombie, which means Daryl gave him a more dignified death.

^^TOTALLY AGREED about the damn kid.....I'd have popped him in the head as a courtesy (nobody desearves to be eaten alive) but no way would I risk my ass for some dude who A: I don't know and B: was shooting at me 30 seconds ago.

I don't know if you guys have been reading the comic books or collections, but one of the major themes in it is that the living are becoming more and more even worse than the undead. The undead are just doing what they do; the living have a choice. Looks like the series is going along those lines, too.

Since the genie's already out of the bottle, I will say that the part that got me was when Dale lifted his head up to the barrel of the gun with pleading eyes. He didn't have to say anything.

In zombieland the right thing to do isn't always the right thing to do. The final scene with Otis a few episodes back left me with the urge to crown Shane king of the douchbags. On the other hand doing what he did saved the life of his best friends kid. Rick couldn't bring himself to execute the boy from the rival gang but not doing so may end up getting the people he's supposed to be taking care of killed.
I think in situations like this you have to limit your capacity for giving a fuck to the people you care about. Nobody likes to think they could just knee cap a guy and leave him to be eaten alive by zombies, but if it comes down to someone you care about versus a perfect stranger....???
