The German

Postby kham » Thu Feb 02, 2012 6:43 pm

From Neptunus Lex, a 10 min video mostly CGI. If only they would redo the Battle of Britain like this

Interesting notes:
- 70,000 euros to make  well, at least the production values show it
- Think I recall someone saying "if you happen to look in the mirror and see something interesting like a 109, its probably the last thing you ever see" :D
-Seriously? If you gonna do that, use the prop and saw off the tail -- you have better odds of living through it :P

Nice touch at the end too

Very cool! Not hyper-realistic, but good nonetheless.

The dogfighting isn't too bad. The end of the dogfight is :P

But compared to what I hear in Red Tails, is being passed off, it appears Mr Lucas has succumbed to his own proverb: Never make a movie that's all Special Effect, with no realism or story left to offset....

Like Yoda said though, There Is Another....

George Lucas can kiss the fattest part of my ass after his last round of "improvements" to the original Star Wars movies. Best news I heard in a while was that he was retiring.
This movie, however, wasn't bad. Decent effects for a E70,000 budget.

Yeah, It is sad when the Clone Wars series is showing better writing and production values than his latest film. Ah well. We still have Peter Jackson who appears to still be doing good work :)
