Helicopters and high altitudes don't mix well. Particularly when there's terrain in those high altitudes.

Nice to see my tax dollars at work. From now on can we require our pilots to have depth perception, or is that too expensive an add-on? :roll:

That's not the first Apache 'watch this' moment, and probably won't be the last. Only problem is now, cameras are SO much better, and your mishap now gets a million hits on youtube... :P

It is amazing, and testimony to the structural integrity of the crew compartment, that no one was injured while the helo was in the process of self-dissasembly... :mrgreen:

That whole crew section ejects as a unit, right? Or am I thinking of another aircraft?
