Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome
Ah, a place of comfort for me, went there when I was a wee lad of 11 and Cole Palen sat me inside the old SPAD13 that he had, and my father had it signed by Eddie Rickenbacker. Now hanging up downstairs, but this is me, today, in front of the Fokker DVII. A bit older.

But not at heart! I bet you still feel like 11 at times. Welcome back to Upsate NY!! I plan on heading to Rhinebeck next sommer. I know the drought is pretty bad, but summer sports and the like are great. I recall too many weekends rained out for an Airshow.

Sweet!
I have an undying love for the heritage warplanes, finding them rather more appealing in look than the modern ones. Must be the romantic in me.
They seem more human to me, if you know what I mean. I think something is lost in flight when one flies by wire.
