i teach history, and mine is from Thucydides' book the peloponesian war... it's just the best one sentence summary of history i've ever come across... and i think it's not hopeless for the weak, btw, they do what they must to survive and eventually the tables can turn...

Well, mine says whom it is from. I think that quote contains more than a little truth. And of course, I enjoy the twisted meaning I'm giving it by placing it here.

My signature is a line from a song by my favourite band Rammsten: it translates as "God knows I don't want to be an angel", which in my case is very true!

My signature is pretty dull: Jack C - Jack is close to my first name and C is my middle initial. ... That's it, ... but I enjoy some of the more imaginative names on the board.

Mine came about when phrase 'Wizard of Ooze' popped up.
I'm not one for grandstanding (I prefer to let my stuff speak for me), but the thought of anyone else using it pushed me to go ahead and run with it.
The fact that the original wizard hid behind a curtain, was, freaking perfect.
