Problems with upload a video on youtube

Hi Everyone,

I got a problem when I uploaded a video on youtube.
I have a video during 16 minutes, but when I uploaded that video they say that the video is declined bacause it's longer then 10 minutes.
And they they that I can only opload videos during 10 minutes or lower, BUT I discovered that other people CAN put videos of 20 minutes.
So why can't I upload videos longer then 10 minutes?
Anyone can help me?

My guess is it's probably a file size issue rather then a video length issue. Your file is too large to upload.

If you have the means to cut it in half and make a Part 1 and Part 2, that works for me.

It's also possible that perhaps some people pay some kind of cost or subscription fee or something in order to be allowed to do longer videos. While the average free user is only allowed 10 minutes per video. I've never tried to upload to youtube so I'm not sure. But yeah, there are 20 minute videos, but they are very rare, I've seen an awful lot of videos that are 9 minutes and 50-something seconds, which does suggest a 10 minute limit.
