Furry/Furries

Postby rhinodynamo » Fri Feb 22, 2013 2:59 am

Even though I am not of the persuasion, I was just wondering how many members here identify as, or have an interest in Furries/ Furry?

The furry side of this little community isn't nearly as big as the non-furry side, I'd have to say only a small fraction, like 1/10th of those who like quicksand/sinking like furries as well, or something similar. I'm one of the furs though, if that wasn't already obvious XD

I'm a furry fan, in the sense I love their look, but am not a participant. Kind of like a furry lurker... :)

I have honestly no idea about this, do you wear costumes :?: :?:

There's a lot of misconception in modern day media about it, stuff being exaggerated and whatnot. Furries are, in a nutshell, people who are fans of anthropomorphic animals (animals with human like qualities, you know what I mean). Some wear fursuits, costumes based on their sonas, but most actually don't do that. It's a part of the fandom yeah, but not what it's about.

I wish there were more quicksand-loving furs! I am also a fur :> Gryphon!

to me, the fandom is less of a fetish and more of a group of friends... though I will also admit some part of me just finds the anthro animals sexier. But furries are a group of friendly people (for the most part), and the sex is... well, incidental. It's what you get when you have a lot of friends together!
