Yucipa swampy area...

Anyone familar Yucuipa, Ca in Riverside County?
Recently on the news there was a brush fire in that area and the news reporter stated that the fire fighters were having trouble getting to some hot spots because the ground in areas was as he described it as being "swampy."
If anyone is familar with the area just wonder if there's a good sinking area there.
