Just a heads up to Doctor Who fans

Just to give fair warning for those who like to avoid spoilers for episodes until they air.

Apparently there have been some blu - ray copies of the second half of this season's Doctor Who that have been shipped out to people who pre - ordered them early. That means there's every likelihood that spoilers for the Season finalie that airs this Saturday either already have or will be leaked soon. The Executive Producer promised a special scene for fans to air after the finale if spoilers didn't leak out, but I don't think that's going to help. Already the Doctor Who Wikipedia page was temporarily hacked yesterday with purported spoilers in them.

To quote River Song - Spoilers...

The finale (if that's the right word) aired last night. The big 50th anniversary episode will be shown in November. It will be worth it.

I know this, because I know a guy who sometimes freelances for Doctor Who magazine, and he met with a (drunk) assistant-assistant producer of the show who told him what he thought of Steven Moffat, then gave away the plot.

I am not privy to any more, as I'm told that to know in advance would spoil much.

The internet takes care of leaks pretty much as they happen, drunken fools notwithstanding :)

Lets just say the fan base is somewhat LESS than impressed with the S7 finale and what they seem to have planned. Its not quite pitchforks, torches and lampposts, but its not far off it either....

Yeah I figured as much. Those who 100% love Moffat's stuff love it, those who are rabidly anti - Moffat absolutely loathe it and those who are inbetween, probably have mixed feelings one way or the other.

It'll be interesting between the finale and what the BBC itself has offically announced for the 50th anniversary special to see how it all plays out come November.

Actually, I loved it. It went a long way towards redeeming what had been an indifferent series.

I liked it myself. :D As a long time Whovian, I've learned to be quite forgiving anyway, but I thought this ep stood well on its own merits. Really looking forward to the 50th anniversary episode. :D

Miss Oswald is DREAMY...one of my Lovely and Talented Assistants at my work is like a blond-hair blue-eye clone of her.

I and most of my whovian friends I know were like "OH MY GOD" at the end.(no spoilers here) we spent 4 hours discussing the implications of the end, and what it means. This episode rocked, and whovians are pretty good about not ruining leaks. The BBC has a few clips for us because those who did get the preorder of Series 7 part 2 early.

All I can say is sooooo looking forward to 11/23/13
