So no one who looks upon this and complains I gave anything away.

Most whovians know, they announced the name of the next actor to play the Doctor. It is Peter Capaldi!

Sure he is older, 55 in fact, he is a perfect choice to play the titular role. Capaldi has been in Torchwood: Children of earth, and the "Fires of Pompeii" episode of doctor Who. however, i think he should be recognized as Malcolm Tucker in "The thick of it".

I am really looking forward to the next chapter in the Doctor Who series.

"Genesis of the Daleks" begs questions about "Genesis of Davros" answered in http://www.bigfinish.com/ranges/released/i-davros for those who want to know what made the man into the monster who created the race of monsters called the Daleks.

I remember that scene well! Davros was one seriously evil (expletive deleted)!!! And you found out in that episode that it was Davros alone- and not the Dalek race- responsible for their reign of terror.

I've faithfully watched the new seasons up until Matt Smith- IMHO the writing went downhill when they made the switch. But Tom Baker will always be MY doctor.

I've always loved the Doctor Who series! But mostly the old classic ones. When I was a young punk. I would climb out of bed at 8 in the morning to watch TOM BAKER in his wonderful portrayal of THE Doctor!

My personal fave is the story set THE GENESIS OF THE DALEKS. My fave line? When the scientist shows the Doctor what the Dalek race will become. And our Doctors response? "Well you've got problems!" Well that was funny to me anyway.

And also the FUCKING AWESOME villain DAVROS! Michael Wisher gave us a real demon for the ages! That old fucker scared the HELL out of me when I was a young kid! My fave line from him?
Look up DAVROS I SHALL HAVE THAT POWER! On Youtube! That fan did a beautiful job doing redoing that scene!
