I dont think I posted these before, since when got off things were busy, then muddled being in the hospital a bit. So here are a couple shots from Feb 2013 , icebound on Lake Michigan in the Mack Straits area, waiting for daylight and some icebreaker assistance. Think it got down around -20C or so that night, was nippy 
And as you can see, the ice is fairly thick there. Cam was a GoPro2, love that little gadget
