Beware the vixen...her seduction is irresistible, and her quicksand is bottomless.

Gail-Màrtainn belongs to @JTKeller; the illustration was inspired by their Foxglove Garden stories.

Brooke is about to find out that the only real difference between quicksand and slowsand is how long she has to struggle.

Late nights in the classroom are no rare occurrence for Miss Johnson. But most nights, the herpetology lab assistant hasn't forgotten to feed the snakes. Most nights, the tanks are secured and locked. Most nights, the janitor is whistling in the hall.

But not tonight.

Tonight, the only noise to be heard is the wet, slick sound of a mouth sliding down over Miss Johnson's head and the groans of a woman who understands all too well what's happening to her...

Please update here from time to time, not all of us look at all your platforms

& Margot, don't give up, i still have a couple of ways to try to pull you out...

Great to see you posting here once again! It was starting to feel quite strange how I was the only one still posting regularly in Drawings when there was so much art being created and shared elsewhere.

PurpleFrogbot wrote:Thwud! Michelle’s spear missed its mark by inches and quivered in the damp jungle turf. Her prey bolted into the undergrowth, and though Michelle knew better than to give reckless chase through the dense and treacherous foliage, she refused to let her quarry get away. She sprang from cover, leaped over a boulder, and—spluttt! The ground swallowed her down to her hips in an instant…black, warm, and thick.

“Tar…” The word dripped from her lips in a panicked whisper. “N-no!”

Bubbles pushed their way to the surface, spattering her sweat-slick skin with dark flecks. Michelle heaved her weight, but the muck held her fast—and she began to sink. Grunting and straining, Michelle fought back, bucking and twisting and pushing against the surface, but the more she struggled, the more entrapped she became in the relentless grip of the tar. As the deadly pit heaved and belched and licked her toned midsection, Michelle’s mounting groans and heavy breaths filled the jungle clearing.

“Oh, gods,” she moaned. “I’m sinking! The tar…s-swallowing me…”

And inch by inch, the groping mire tugged her in farther…

Michelle belongs to 65sinking, as does the original 3D render that inspired this piece.

PurpleFrogbot wrote:The soft, wet sand squelches and slurps every inch of her sunken body. Her chest rises and falls with quick, shallow breaths. Her heart hammers. Her face flushes. Gasps turn into groans. And she just...keeps...sinking.

Inspired by 65sinking's series Carrie's Curiosity.

I know you've heard this from me before, but the feeling of validation and recognition, that my OCs and my own art directly inspired one of my favourite quicksand artists... it's surreal and amazing.
