Love the attention to details that Tiangtam put into this piece. The look of shock and surprise is beautifully done on her face as she bogs down into the mire. Her pose goes well with a woman trying to maintain her balance as the ground gives way to her weight, and I love how her hair and breasts respond to the suddenness of her downward descent. Also love how the quicksand is undulating away from her calves... this gives a very realistic impression of a semi-liquid tract of gooey land and makes for an interesting contrast to the super thick mud in your previous commission that Meriem got herself stuck and sunk in.

Black Cat's mask has a distinct and wonderful three-dimensional look to it, and great detail work of having the shadow of every teeth of her outfit's zipper cast upon her skin.

Thanks for sharing!

Indeed, once again the expression he has managed to put into a piece is truly impressive, but not just with her face, her whole body. The positioning of her legs, looking like they were in mid step when the ground gave way, the posturing of her arms, as you say, adds the appearance of lost balance, which would be only natural from a sudden plunge like that, and of course her bobbed up chest and hair. The rippling and undulating of the surface, moving out from her, like a stone dropped into a pool of water. All of this just comes together beautifully to create not only a sense of movement, but a sense of reaction to that movement,.. her trying to keep her balance, the bog displaced and disrupted by her boots plunging down into it, it's all so wonderfully dynamic, I think. And yes, clearly this bog is a much different beast then the one that sucked down poor Meriem, while that one was super thick and yielding, yet barely responsive to her movements, this one is seemingly more fluid and gooey,.. yet, will that difference prove good or bad for Felicia here? ;)

Yes, I love the mask, and the zipper details blew me away even in the earlier pre-series prep shots, that even such small details like that have their own shadows attached to them really is just wonderful.

you two are a great team... you've picked one of the most talented artists on DA, but your vision of what to do with his gift is a big part of the result

Third image in a commission series by the outstanding Tiangtam

And the fight truly begins, Black Cat vs the Quicksand Bog, now taking bets on the winner. ;)

I must say, I love the sense of struggling you get from this one, her expression says alot, but there is so much more to it,... the way her hair has whipped around in front of her, the undulation of the bog's surface, the positioning of her arms and hips, you really get a feel for the movement of the piece as the sands grip around her lovely thighs.

And of course be sure to check out the gallery of the artist behind this, and other lovely images; http://tiangtam.deviantart.com/

My favorite depth for a strong, sexy woman stuck and sinking in quicksand or mud... she looks well and truly STUCK! Love the looks of a woman's thick thighs stuck in the sticky suction of quicksand or mud, and in this piece, you can almost sense the strength of the powerful suction holding Black Cat's thighs fast and tight. Love the way the quicksand responds to the twisting of her hips and the thrashing of her strong legs.

Tiangtam did an outstanding job on her pose and stance. The twisting of her alluring hips and athletic torso combined with the whipping of her hair wonderfully depict the power generated by her struggling as she strains to lift her stuck thighs out of her muddy trap. I also love the looks of her clenched fists as she jerks and pulls at her legs.

Even more special about this piece is Black Cat's facial expression... love the looks of gritted teeth and "no fear" determination in a woman's face as she as fights with sheer stubbornness to get free of quicksand and mud. She's putting up a brave effort, but her legs are becoming even more bonded to the mud as she slowly sinks deeper.

Running out of adjectives here... amazing... stunning... freaking awesome...

Love the texture of the quicksand, too. :D
