Michelle's struggles slowed as she began to run out of oxygen. No... I can't... I... I don't want to drown in this muck! The thick, goopy clay was still steadily pulling her down into its depths.

She tried to lift her head once more, but she had used up the last of her strength; all she could do was writhe and tremble helplessly, unable to do anything except wait for the end.

No! Please, I don't want to go under and drown! She sobbed weakly.

Michelle cried in frustration and despair, as she felt the sludge swallowing up more of her face.

She could feel herself gradually slipping away. Her eyelids fluttered.

She wept, lamenting the life that she wouldn't get to experience. Her dreams, her hopes, all would be devoured by the mud.
