The Killing Moon

Postby stevensenechal » Wed Nov 04, 2009 3:31 am

Vampires, as vain, selfish and self-involved as any creature living. It was easy for Pelinor to lure them out by their insatiable hunger and their selfish desires, then it was a simple matter to turn moonlight into sunlight and quicksand into holy water. Thus Sephora had been trapped and now she too burned...

:!: :!: :!: :!: :o

What else can I say? You are a remarkable artist! I must ask you: was this done with pencil or charcoal? It looks like it could be either one. I'm very impressed with the detail work and the shading. I also like the look on the heroine's face as she walks away. It's like she's saying it's a dirty job. but someone needs to do it. It adds even more the drama and the impact of the scene. Very well done! :D

I'm having trouble scanning such a large drawing. I will have to get a studio to scan it properly and I will repost it. It's pencil of 2H to 4B weights smudged with a Dremel tool...

I have to agree - incredible work!
There’s so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Oh, wow...the awesomeness keeps on coming!

The detail and shading on this are exquisite. As for the expression on that vampire victim's face...that screams "AGONY".
