Blightmere's Jolene, in Quicksand, by Tanya

Postby tanya_wam » Tue Aug 16, 2016 9:44 am

Blightmere asked if I would draw his jungle explorer character Jolene almost up to her chest in quicksand, with her arms stuck.

Not content with so 'little' to draw, and wanting to make it a bit sexier and sensual, I googled to find a good athletic or acrobatic pose, so I could draw a scene to be proud of, and it might be my best yet...

So to set the scene as I saw it, Jolene emerges into a small dusty clearing from the thick green undergrowth, and has barely taken a few foolhardy footsteps in not testing the treacherous and usually damp soil, before she realises she is caught in quicksand! She tries to take a bigger step to what she hopes is firm ground but her slender fishnet stockinged leg plunges even deeper as her other leg remains firmly stuck. Tottering for balance, she places her hands in the quivering trembling sand only for them to be gripped by its suction up to her elbows as her spread legs slowly disappear into the grainy ooze. The cold implacable semi-liquid vice holds her fast, soaking through her shorts and slowly sliding up her belly, as her breasts heave with fear under her tied blouse...

Oh tosh! Tanya retorted, quicksand churning,
Round her knees, then thighs, then oh dear!
It got intimate with her hips and her panties,
And squished rather funnily up her rear!

Nice! Great artwork you're uploading lately, keep it up! :D
Just out of interest, what media are you using? Pens, Watercolours?

Brushpens, markers and fineliners. Depending on the paper, and I've been using up sheets of different quality, you can get an almost watercolour brush effect with some lighter hues, such as a pale green and turquoise I used for the background. I adjust the levels in photoshop after scanning to punch up the colours a bit.

Cool drawing! I love the scenario! Soon, the only thing that will be left is the hat! :)

Where have I heard that before. ;)

Nice drawing of Jolene!

I like her field attire and how it fits her, especially her shorts... her shorts look to be very short and very conforming of her curves... they show off her thighs nicely. The fishnet stockings are an interesting touch. I like that you have her legs stuck and deeply mired, and having her arms also get stuck certainly has her firmly trapped. Also, the filthiness of her bare, sweaty skin is a nice touch, and great work on the background.

Great storyline, and, yes, Jolene certainly has an athletic pose.

Thanks for sharing!
