New MOVIE!!!!! Watch where you step!

Hi Everybody,

Here's a little clip I did to do some testing of certain techniques. First, Real Flow came out with a new "Viscosity Material" on their latest version of their software, so I wanted to give it a try. Still working out the details to make it behave, but so far it looks pretty good I think. Next is my first attempt to use dynamic hair in a movie. It works pretty well, but so far only when I have relatively short hair. I'm still trying to get the longer hair styles to behave. Please note, this is the first movie I've done where I manually animate the girl's mouth and lips to sync up with real dialog! Granted, its only one word, but its a start. I used a tool to automatically sync up the words to the girl's mouth in Country Gal's Fate, but I felt it really didn't work very well, so unless somebody can come up with a better tool, I'm going to sync up dialog manually for now on.

Very nice! I love how thick it appears. The mud sticks to her, and doesn't drip like a thin liquid. Her arms and body leave imprints in the bog... very realistic. It's good to see your work again.

In a word, awesome!

Love how the quicksand reacts to her thrashings, plus the lady struggles and sounds nice.

Only quibble - and it is a minor one - is the lack of wet sounds from the quicksand itself. But as I say, it is a minor quibble.

Overall, this si great.
