Quicksand Fans

Say 'Hi' to Amy. I introduced her in my my old Bumblebee story and its little sequel Take me to the Deep Spot, but now we finally get to see her. As you can see, she is wearing her hair short again. It's just too much trouble cleaning up with long hair.

What is she doing there? Where is that place? Why is she topless? Is she completely nude? How deep is that bog actually? Why the smile... ? Soooo many questions... left unanswered.

I may be posting more renders of this scene from different angles in a few days. (Yes, it does take a long time to render one of these.)

Is that black stuff mud, tar, or peat?

It's peat and I don't have any good textures/material shaders for the stuff yet, so yeah... it looks like that. One of several things that could use improvement in my renders. Probably the most noticable one.
