Quicksand Fans

Not wanting to get her dress muddy, Melissa took it off before wading out into the marsh to get the lily blossom which had apparently been blown onto a mudflat in the storm the previous night.
Well, happily for us, that didn't quite work out as planned

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time.
