Wow. That's already one impressive, detailed series by itself - without part 2.

Love the quicksand's texture. Also, I can only imagine how much work it must have been to pose that snake.

Thanks Aiko! I appreciate the kind words! I was really happy with how this years quicksand turned out too. It's always been a struggle... (see what I did there? ;) ) to get that looking just right, yet hopefully different from the previous year's.
Actually, the snake isn't as hard to work with as it might seem. It's got 62 separate sections but you can control them either one at a time or with the 'Easy Pose' morphs which let you move them in groups. It took me a little while to get the hang of it but now it's not too bad. Especially if you turn off the morph limits. Animating it can be a little more challenging. :)
