Not too sure if this qualifies as new art, but since I did go through all of the trouble of re-rendering the character with new hair in Poser 7 and all... And now that I've looked at it for a couple of hours, I'm really not liking the new hair; could have at least made it another color or something. Oh well...
Anyway, I've been meaning to add a real photo as a backdrop for a render for quite some time now... I guess I never really got around to it since I was trying to get everything done in either Poser and/or Bryce; and, by having a lot of content in either program tends to give me hours to even days of no computer access. Should have done it sooner.
So, enjoy this redone piece of my avatar. I'm also going to upload it to my DA account for those that follow me there.

I really like it! Great job. Using a real photo worked well.

Having the girl trying to lift her legs out of the much was what I was shooting for on this!
Thanks everyone for the comments and I hope to have more soon. Well, sooner than later anyway.

Re: Ayane Matrix's 3D/2D Sinking Works
Finally, I have something sinking related, though the poor girl is sinking into some pink goo; but, I digress.
Anyway, this image is my half of an art trade with prince_vegeta (his half is here and on Deviant Art if you missed it the first go around) of his character Benisato sinking into what at first appeared to be nothing more than a large puddle of pink goo. Obviously, it's much deeper than it lead on. More info at here and here.
Now, being that I'm hardly ever satisfied with most of my works, I intend to see what would happen if I use a different rendering engine to illuminate the goo, generate some scattered lighting, and maybe have the entire scene inside a building to create a more eerie atmosphere. Time will tell!
EDIT: I went ahead and deleted the image of Benisato sinking as I'm planning on redoing the scene based on some feedback on some other sites I've also posted it on. Be on the look out in the future.

New work!
Part of an art trade I had with Lady of Mud, and after a ton of related and unrelated issues/problems, it's done!
