I want to write my own story about a Fey now, albeit I would have the iron be more fatiguing and weakening than deadly. Maybe make iron dust, and use that for the soil for the quicksand, so the quicksand drains the Fey's strength as they sink. I can't wait to write it, hopefully I do a good job.
