As I parked the beater at the quarry, my stomach turned wondering if any of this would work. It all depended on Kayla. She had the power to do whatever she pleased really, and squash this whole idea before it even got a chance to be heard. But I had to try. This thing just had to end one way or another…
I didn’t see anyone right away as I walked towards the silt pond. A woman appeared who I didn’t recognize. This was not the way I wanted this to go.
“Hi Ethan, my name is Alison. I’m Mrs. Wagner’s personal assistant.”
She extended her hand to me.
“It’s nice to meet you Alison.”
“Mrs. Wagner and party are down this way behind the silt pond. Before we join them I want you to know I’m fully aware of everything that’s transpired up so far. Please speak freely about any subject today.”
She smiled and waited for my reply.
“I wasn’t aware you would be here so I’m kind of nervous as to why you are?”
Alison folded her arms across her chest while her face scrunched up.
“NOTHING goes on with Mrs. Wagner that I don’t know about, I mean NOTHING. She requested I be here to take notes as to what your solution would be to her “unique” situation.”
“I see. I guess that makes sense.”
“Why don’t we head back to the group now, is that ok?”
I nodded yes. Alison turned and walked beside me.
“That….quicksand is it deep?” she asked.
“In parts it is sure.”
“How deep do you think?”
“It’s hard to say, but maybe 10 feet or so although I’m sure in the middle it goes deeper.”
“Gee I’d hate to be sinking in that stuff.” She said shaking her head.
Alison looked to be in in her mid to late 30’s. Black wavy air to her shoulders, heavy set, with all her weight carried in her lower half. Her sleeveless dark red dress really flattered her curves. Her large ass wiggled as she walked.
As we approached Kayla, Herb, and Judy, Alison said she needed to go back and wait for Alyssa. The three of them stopped talking and turned their attention to me.
“Boy Sport, I hope you have something good because to me this is all bullshit.” Herb said with a scowl on his face.
“Quiet Herb!” Kayla said sharply.
“I want to hear what Ethan is proposing.”
Just as Kayla finished, Alison came with Alyssa.
“Everyone is here Mrs. Wagner. We can begin now.” Alison announced
“Alright Ethan, let’s have it.” Kayla said as she stuck her hands in the pockets of her dress.
“Textil Pharmaceuticals will enter into a long term contracting agreement with Alyssa’s IT consulting company. As part of the partnership, Alyssa agrees to turn over all work products, and keep all work products confidential while signing an iron clad Non-Disclosure Agreement. The files now and any files her company may view will never be made public. The terms of the agreement can be worked among the attorneys representing the parties.”
“You have to be shitting me! You want this cunt to be rewarded for stealing my files!” Herb said as he pointed to Alyssa.
“Fuck off perv!” Alyssa shouted back
Herb took steps towards Alyssa when I got in-between the two.
“Step back Herb, Now!” Kayla ordered.
“You can’t be seriously considering this?” Herb said with hands up looking at Kayla.
Before Kayla said anything, I spoke up.
“Think of it as payment for all those young women Herb got his hands on over the years.”
Herb took exception to my statement but Kayla shut him down fast.
“I like it. It’s clever and Textil won’t miss the money. Alyssa what do you think? Will this
work for you?”
“Yes Mrs. Wagner” Alyssa answered.
“Good! Friday morning 9am come to the main plant with your attorney. I will leave word with security to escort you to a conference room.”
Alyssa nodded and mouthed “thank you” to me as she turned and walked towards the dirt parking lot at the top of the small hill.
Herb grabbed Judy’s hand and growled “let’s go.” Judy looked at me helplessly.
“I have it all down on my tablet Mrs. Wagner.” Alison said with a smile.
“Alison, you are loyal to me aren’t you?”
“Of course I am Mrs. Wagner.” Her face looked confused by the question.
“And you would never betray me in any way.”
“Never, why are you questioning me?”
“I have reason to believe you might not be as loyal as you say.” Kayla’s tone turned cold as she glared at Alison.
“I have NEVER betrayed your trust, ever.”
Kayla walked towards the silt pond which the color at this end was not the light grey as in the front but rather a dark brown. It looked like more water had mixed in at this end to change the color.
“Will you prove to me your loyalty? Kayla asked Alison.
“I will do anything to for you Mrs. Wagner.”
“Then I’d like you to walk into the quicksand.”
“You, you want me to do what?”
“I want you to walk into the quicksand, unless you aren’t willing to do anything for me as you said.”
“I am but….”
Alison looked at me with terror in her eyes. She turned toward the dark water then at Kayla.
“I’m afraid our relationship can’t move forward until I know you are completely loyal. I’m sorry Alison, but unless you do as I ask, you’ll have to seek employment elsewhere.”
She slowly put down her cell phone and tablet. Removed her shoes and carefully placed them next to the phone and tablet. Walking slowly she approached the edge of the quicksand. She placed one leg in and then the other.
“Ohhhh….”
Her hands were straight out to her sides balancing herself as she sank to her waist.
“Is this…..enough?” She asked Kayla
“Alison, there were three people who knew the password to Herb’s computer where that file was stored, Herb, Myself, and you.”
“That’s right Mrs. Wagner.” Alison said nervously
“Did you give that password to Alyssa?”
“No! it wasn’t me!” Alison screamed
“There is no way that girl hacked Herb’s computer. Herb is many things but one thing he isn’t is a fool. He is an expert in cyber security and wouldn’t allow his computer security to be easily overcome.”
“I swear Mrs. Wagner I had nothing to do with it!”
She had sunk to her chest with her hand still out to her side.
“This is getting deep! Help meeee!”
I moved to help her and Kayla said quietly “not yet.”
“I want the truth and I promise you Ethan will pull you out.”
“Its…deep…I’m going down….please Mrs. Wagner.”
Kayla just started at her.
“Ok…yes I gave Alyssa the password! Help me!”
Alison pushed and splashed, thrashing to grab anything. The brown water covered her shoulders and panic griped her.
“Help me! I….I can’t stay up! Hurry!”
“Dear, you betrayed me and there are consequences.” Kayla said coldly
I went to rush to Alison as Kayla called out.
“Ethan! Stop!”
“No Kayla, even if she gave that password to Alyssa, she doesn’t deserve to die.”
“I’m sorry!.....I’m…grummmmp…..gluggggg…..”
Alison went under as her hands waved wildly.
Kayla rolled her eyes at me and muttered “You’re too soft, go get her.”
I ran to the edge as her hands disappeared. I reached down where the bubbles were breaking the surface and grabbed one of her hands. She came up coughing and out of breath. She lay back in my arms catching her breath.
“Thank you.” She said quietly.
I thought today would finally end things but I think Alison knows things that could take things in a different direction…

Hey, Sparky, glad to see the next installment in your story. To get myself completely up to speed, I went back this evening and hunted down all the previous chapters and read them in one sitting; you've been writing this story since around the time I joined the forum. By my count, Ethan has saved three women from the quicksand so far (Kayla, Alyssa, and Alison) and in the previous chapter had hot sex with Judy after years of dreaming about it. As I remember, Judy had told Ethan that she would sink for him right before they had sex; I'm wondering if that was a bit of foreshadowing...

Hi J.
I’m beyond flattered that you like series as much as you do, thank you. My original idea was a series about Ethan, a young man who has fantasized about his best friends Mom since puberty hit, sinking in quicksand. The tricky part is to include in every chapter a quicksand reference. Obviously I created a back story to do this.
Your instincts are right on the money. In the next chapter Ethan fantasies are about to come true. Mrs. C. ( Judy) will sink for Ethan. Of course there a few surprises coming his way too!
Thank you again for taking such an interest in the series!

Hi Pete,
First off your quicksand cartoons are incredible. I enjoy them very much. Yes, Kayla takes no prisoners and will continue to cause Ethan problems in the chapters ahead!
Thank you for reading!

You're welcome, Sparky. I'm enjoying the twists and turns your story has taken so far. I usually find when I'm writing a story that, while I may have a good idea where I want it to end up, the story ends up going off in directions that it naturally wants to go, which is why a good backstory provides a framework for the story to do that. Of course, not every chapter in a quicksand story has to include a sinking scene per se, as long as it's clear that the quicksand is there, lurking in the background, waiting for an unsuspecting victim to take one foolhardy step too many from the safety of solid ground...

Looking forward to the next chapter!
