Ok I’m currently working on a story called “Quicksand Summer Fair”, and I am in need of ideas. Many ideas(explanations appreciated).

Re: Story ideas:Willing/Lighthearted + Fatal
Personally, I like to write stories about characters who get into quicksand willingly, but even though they enjoy it sexually they usually do not plan on dying in there. They at least try to get out.
I think I might write a story where someone (perhaps several someones) consents to a fatal submersion, but at least one person is having second thoughts. Or some outsider interferes because they want to rescue someone they care about. There must be at least a tiny bit of drama in it or I would not want to write it (not meaning to discourage anyone else from going that route).
Would such a story, where only some of the characters give themselves to the sands willingly, still appeal to you guys?

I can see it does me at least. It can even be a story in which the character(s) willingly submerge and drown to be revived later, or even the character doesn’t actually die, like in <Sweet Sinking> for example.

Just to put in my own two cents, I suppose ideas will depend on the length and complexity of story you are going for, as well as how many characters you are able to juggle, and the setting (jungle, swamp, desert, beach, etc.). Just a few quick ideas that fit with the theme you’ve just mentioned:
1) Public nudity as the norm, as it makes it more convenient for a skinny dip or spontaneous sink, as well as more environmentally sound (prevent non-biodegradable materials from polluting the Earth
).
2) A quicksand dance troupe who belly dances their way to oblivion for the audience’s entertainment, wearing nothing but their perfume and jewels.
3) A beauty competition where the final round judges how beautifully the contestants sink in a very slow pit (tar, maybe). The winner gets the pleasure of seeing herself conducted into the Hall of Fame moments before she and her sisters vanish for good, just enough time to say thank yous and goodbyes.
4) Past ideas: quicksand dunk tank, tug-o-war games, and obstacle courses.
5) A scavenger hunt in a quicksand-dense forest or jungle, maybe with mother-adult daughter or sister teams.
6) For family groups, some competition or another (maybe quicksand trivia?) where a wrong answer or lost round sends your beloved family into the mire for a sandy staycation.
7) If you can juggle enough characters, maybe you can have a large group (birthday party, graduation, family vacation, school group, etc.) who get picked off one by one as they seek adventure in the fair. After all, there’s no party like a Dwindling Party.
8) A Tunnel of Love or Lover’s Grove where lovers of all kinds share a romantic sink beneath the stars. Some might get a little too into it, or just decide that it feels so nice that it would be better to just let go…
9) A luau where some girls are “volunteered” from the audience to be the main sacrifice in front of everyone. Some sex with hunky tribal men could be mixed in.
10) Will there be themed areas: tribal, harem/oriental, jungle girls, Western, etc.?
Just to humbly add my own opinion: I do enjoy it when the characters willingly submerge and drown on some level. Even better if it’s not completely casual; their lives are important to them, and they will be missed, but the experience of quicksand is even better, and more than worth a bubbling, smothering death. If you would like, I can try and come up with more, but I don’t want to overwhelm you.

Tug-o-war can go one of two ways: Perhaps there’s a formal tournament where contestant volunteer. The rope is held over a quicksand, and the loser plunges in with no hope of rescue. Just enough time to say goodbye and tell the audience how good it feels before she/he takes a final dip. Keeps going until only one winner.
Or,
A group activity where there are teams at either end of the rope. They keep at it until one group goes completely in, or until there’s just one survivor from both teams. (And then maybe the last survivor plunges in because, why the heck not?
)
Note: Feel free to recycle the idea from my previous story, Faire Play. I don’t mind; in fact, I’d welcome another’s take on it.

I'm currently working on Animusa part 2. I'm not gonna say too too much, but there is a willing submersion with a revival in it, and mind you, this is intentional, as I like my quicksand to have buoyancy, but the character will find a way around that. Realistically, no human would be able to struggle themselves to the bottom of a cold 20 foot deep pit, but they find a way. Watch for that in the future.

Emmm I’m not sure how you are getting that. Video exist to say that yes, you can struggle yourself downward in quicksand or silt and stuff.

I mean, no intelligent human is gonna sink to the bottom of a 20 foot pit, they may even get exhausted before that, however, the characters get around this.
