So I made this my project for Halloween. But I didn't finish it by that deadline. But, here it is all done anyway. Better than never, am I right?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Dread Swamp. The border that serves as one gateway to the Forsaken Valley. A good number of Olympia's monsters dwell here. Some waiting to snag unsuspecting travelers into the mud that covers 87% of its surface, others actively hunting for stragglers endlessly. By law, no one goes to this swamp unarmed for those reasons. Those that do travel without a weapon, or magic, are taking a gamble.
Yet those, like Senta, never take this gamble. But even if fully prepared, the swamp is sometimes still out to get you. For Senta; one encounter, proved to be a vital lesson in being fully prepared, and always being on guard at all times in the swamp. It was a rather dark & stormy night. Senta had gone into the Dread Swamp to obtain a special herb that only grows in the deepest part of the swamp. She was weary, and she was right to be so.
Night meant monster activity increased to the point no one was allowed to enter monsters' habitats without weapons as night was the time monsters in the swamp like to go hunting. And this knowledge had Senta nerve wracked. "No amount of wracked nerves..." She gulped. "Can express how scared I am..." She then says. Despite this, Senta didn't back down on her quest and ventured further into the swamp, her eyes on the path.
Staying on her needed path, Senta saw signs Living Mud were on the prowl, but being a geomancer; Senta was not worried about those monsters. She was more concerned about the more dangerous predator of the swamp: Weregators. They were as hostile as the lizardmen, but weregators had an extra danger point or two as they were amphibious, meaning these reptilian monsters could swim. Senta knew this well.
She was on high alert, knowing weregators love to ambush prey. Just then, she spotted a shimmering mud puddle and carefully approached it. The mud in the Dread Swamp was quite vicous. Once it has a hold of a sinkable target, it is almost impossible to escape unaided. And Senta was no strong woman. Being a strict mage so to speak makes her unfit to wield heavy weapons like swords and axes.
Her staff however, was made of solid quartz and it packed enough of a physical punch, she didn't really need a sword to protect herself physically. As she passes the mud, she dared not poke it. Senta wasn't sure if this was a mere mud puddle, or Living Mud waiting to grab someone. But as she got to a point where she was close... ...It turns out to be the case of the latter. Her body was grabbed by the hips, and the mud rose.
Senta entered a panic, she knows the Living Mud is threatening to absorb her. She did not want that. "No! Let me go!" She shouted. The Living Mud however, enveloped to her hips, working on her torso next. It however, didn't take Senta far as she fought it non-stop. "I said let me go!!" She then screamed, casting magic on the monster. Unable to stand up to the magical might, the Living Mud released her, then retreated.
A close call. Senta got away quickly before the Living Mud had a chance to recover and try again. Thus Senta continued on, venturing deeper into the swamp. Finally, she came to a clearing in the swamp. "Sweet relief..." Sighed Senta, parking herself by a tree. She soon saw something in the distance up ahead. "Those are the..." Her eyes certainly didn't deceive her. The herbs she was looking for were in plain sight.
"Oh thank goodness I found them..." She said. As she made her way towards the grove where the herbs lie in wait, Senta was snapped at from the shadows. Jumping out of the way, she came across a Weregator that was waiting for a straggler. This is what snapped at her. "Crocodi... Weregator!" She exclaimed. The beast lunged at her, but Senta jumped back and away from the monster, and straight into deep trouble. Literally.
She however, didn't know of this just yet. She stood ready if the weregator were to try and bite her again. Curiously, it chose to leave her be now. She breathed a sigh of relief when it broke its attack off. "That was scary..." Said Senta. Before she can go ahead, she felt her feet were not moving an inch. Before she had time to mutter a single word, she looked down. Senta saw she was caught in the swamp's quicksand.
Senta screamed, attempting to pull one of her feet free, but to no avail. The quicksand was stubborn, holding her fast. Her fight only pushed her to her knees, and Senta stumbled forward. She nearly got her hands stuck, but saved herself with her staff. However, she wasn't out of the woods. She was still sinking slowly. Senta was in a state of panic. "What a stupid time to go out and do some harvesting!" She exclaimed.
In such a jam, her geomancy magic should come in handy, but Senta's panicking clouded her judgement and ability to make use of it easily. Senta began the process of calming herself, but with the quicksand showing no signs of stopping of pulling her down, it was not easy. Sucking on her ample thighs, the quicksand bubbled as it kept pulling down slowly. Senta was quick to piece together the quicksand is why that Weregator broke its assault early.
Monsters never attack victims stuck in quicksand. No sport in it. As Senta sinks, she uses her staff to get herself upright to buy her more time in finding a way to escape. "Maybe if I..." She muttered, pushing her staff on the surface to try and push herself upward. It worked for a moment, but it quickly proved to not be the ideal method. Senta plummeted back down, the quicksand now halfway up her thighs as a result.
"That didn't work..." Said Senta as the quicksand sucked on her thighs still. Still unable to use her magic while her mind is wrought with panic, Senta kept the fight to calm herself going, even as the quicksand claimed her thighs more. It wasn't long before it reached her ample butt. The quicksand bubbled and splattered against it. Her face flushed red from this, but Senta didn't have time to enjoy the sensation. Her main concern was getting home with the herbs.
Senta pushed on the surface to try and raise her body up some, but all this accomplished was getting her hands muddy. She even gasped as the quicksand now pushed gently against her sweetspot. "Ah, oh..." Senta gasped out. As the quicksand slurped her hips & butt down, she was overtaken by pleasure. She however, fought to keep her mind focused on the task on hand. It was not easy however. The quicksand was at its gooeiest.
And that made it increasingly more pleasurable than normal. As Senta sinks deeper, she regained some composure to use her magic again. Reaching to her left, she started manipulating the quicksand to drag some of it to her to use as a leverage point. She however, soon stopped once the part of the quicksand she's bringing toward her revealed something. "A vine...?" She muttered. "Oh, it is indeed a vine!"
Senta was relieved to see a vine had fallen. She had her lifeline already. And not a moment too soon either. She was now chest deep and the swamp now sucked on her breasts. "Ah, no..." She moaned. "Now's not the time... I can't... Let you... have me..." She then added. Senta was in luck. The vine was approximately as long as 30ft. More than enough to make use of to escape. Sending her staff to solid ground, Senta snags the vine.
It's not a moment too soon either. The quicksand started engulfing Senta's breasts more as they slowly vanish beneath the gooey surface. Wasting no time, Senta fashioned some of her vine into a lasso with relative ease. And her vine was thick enough that it won't snap on her. As the quicksand reached Senta's shoulders, her vine lasso was ready. Now she just needed a sturdy target. And she was quick to spot one.
A small but thick tree, probably about 10ft. tall and still growing, but well anchored caught Senta's eye. She twirled her vine lasso about and tossed it, scoring the tree on her first try, just as the quicksand consumed her shoulders and reached her chin. "Yes..." Senta gasped. Summoning all her might, Senta tugged on the vine and started to pull herself out. The quicksand's grip loosened each passing second as Senta went slow.
She still struggled however. Her hands were quite muddy, and that made for a slippery moment or two. But Senta never quit. Each time her grip on the vine slipped, she just grabbed hold again and kept on pulling. Once she was halfway free, she grabbed her staff, anchored it in the solid earth some, and easily went from there. It still took a little effort, but soon, Senta was free of the gripping quicksand. "Whew..." She let out.
At first she thought about going to a river and cleaning up immediately. But, she knows the Weregators will not attack her if she's muddied; even if it's not a complete coating. With this, she finally went into the cove where the herbs are located, picked about 5 dozen or so properly, and without a moment's hesitation; backtracked her way through the Dread Swamp and made her way out as quickly as possible.
Knowing her way around the swamp, she is soon outside of its forboding darkness and on the grass bathed in bright warm moonlight. And using the moon as her guide, she finally made it back to the house, herbs secured. Senta learned a lesson about always being on guard in the Dread Swamp, and as she went inside for a long awaited bath, she reflected on the experience. However, one thing was certain.
Should someone have to go into the Dread Swamp to harvest the herbs, she hoped to high heaven that she won't be the one who goes in there again. She however, would not want to stop experiencing quicksand anytime soon. But her next one should at least be more pleasuring, and not in a rather dire situation.
