Fox in Socks (the sinking version) Anthro Furry, F, stuck, sinking

Fox in Socks
(the sinking version)
Anthro Furry, f, stuck, sinking

Once upon a certain time
in a silly Seussian rhyme
lived a lady anthro fox
with blazing fur, called Rustylocks.

Rusty was a curvy vixen;
She had a henhouse she kept chicks in.
She had a den house made of bricks;
there she lived and kept her chicks.

Rusty woke at her usual hour,
fed the chicks and picked a flower.
Swept the den house, swept the walk,
and made a list on a slate with chalk.

I'd say the sun was shining bright-
but foxes are awake at night.
Foxes are, you see, nocturnal.
(You should note that in your journal.)

"There!" she said, "My chores are done.
Now it's time to have some fun.
I see the moon is on the rise-
I feel the need for exercise!"

"But wait," she said, "I forgot my claws-
they were just polished on all four paws.
To keep them safe from dirt and rocks,
on my paws I'll wear blue socks!"

She loped along with the rising moon
until she came to Goo Lagoon.
New goo, blue goo, gooey, gooey.
Blue goo, new goo, gluey, gluey.

"Wow!" she said, "That goo is wide-
but I'd like to get to the other side.
This fox doesn't chew blue goo,
but getting sticky is what I do."

"It's really a pain when you have fur,
but sticky makes this vixen purr.
It's called a fetish, it's called a kink-
but at least I never drink pink ink!"

She took her socks off carefully,
and tried to wade through the gooey sea.
"This is feeling really good-
I'd wade out further, if I could."

"But now it seems my paws are stuck,
like the sinking wheels of a muddy truck.
Two paws doesn't work, I see-
but I have four, so I'll get free."

On all fours she tried to go.
She tried and tried, but the goo said NO.
"My hindpaws were stuck in the sinky goo,
and now my forepaws are stuck too!"

She struggled and tugged in the gluey mire,
she wiggled and pulled, but the goo crept higher.
"Stop!" she thought, "I need to think-
the more I struggle, the more I sink!"

"I'm belly deep in this gluey goo,
I can't touch bottom, what do I do?
I'm in trouble, is what I'm thinking-
Help!" she yelped, "This vixen's sinking!"

"Help!" she yelped. She yelped for help.
She yelped and yelped and yelped for help.
Stuck and sinking- oh, poor dear!
but Mister Knox was there to hear.

Mister Knox was a furry, too-
an anthro wolf from Kalamazoo.
"I know exactly what to do-
never fear, I'll rescue you!"

He grabbed a stick from a startled rabbit,
and held it out so her jaws could grab it.
"Get ready to pull, on the count of three!"
And with LOTS of tugging, our fox was free.

"Thank you, thank you, Mister Knox!
That goo was just like chains and locks.
Now I'm out and safe, it's true-
but my fur is covered in thick blue goo!"

"Never fear, Miss Rustylocks,
this wolf is clever as any fox.
I know how to clean blue goo-
come to my den, and I'll teach you too."

Mister Knox began to toil,
with sturdy comb and slippery oil
and in an hour (or maybe two)
her fur was clean, and the job was through.

"Your grooming skills should win you fame-
you worked so gently, it looks like flame.
For a wolf, you seem so tame.
Would you like to play a game?"

The game they played, I have to say
will never see the light of day.
But nine weeks later, on a sunny morn,
four hybrid wolf/fox kits were born!
