A lot will depend on your experience with creative writing (e.g. English Composition) but I think most people would find it easiest to write in the first person. Tell us about the time you ran out of gas. Or the time you went bird watching in Hawaii, or something like that. Remember to tell us what you were thinking or feeling as the story unfolds. Do NOT tell us what any other person in the story is thinking or feeling if you write in this style show us by what they say or do.
